Dr. Todd A. Williams, MD

Dr. Williams is a native of New Mexico. He is board certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. He grew up in Santa Fe, Las Cruces, Roswell and Albuquerque. After four years of active duty in the United States Marine Corps, he earned a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering. He subsequently earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center and trained for three years in Internal Medicine. He was then accepted into the fellowship program in Gastroenterology at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center where he finished in May of 2005.

Dr. Williams is also a six year veteran of the New Mexico Air National Guard where he was the flight surgeon for the 188th Fighter Squadron and has flown multiple non-combat missions in the F-16D fighter jet. He provided medical support for joint operations involving the Air Forces of the United States, Brazil, Argentina and Chile. He also participated in medical humanitarian missions in Ecuador. Prior to arriving in Idaho Falls, he served a tour at LSA, Anaconda in Balad, Iraq at a Level 1 trauma hospital where he worked in the Intensive Care Unit treating United States and Coalition troops, Iraqi civilians and enemy combatants. He also spent two weeks in New Orleans assisting the victims of Hurricane Katrina.

He has been practicing gastroenterology in Idaho Falls since 2005.
